British Touring Car champion Jake Hill claimed pole position for the second round at Brands Hatch after a challenging start at Donington Park due to changes in car weights following the removal of hybrid. The West Surrey Racing BMWs made a strong comeback at Brands Hatch, with Hill narrowly beating team-mate Charles Rainford for his first BTCC pole position. Hill expressed his thrill and gratitude towards the team for providing him with a competitive car. Other notable performances in qualifying included Rainford on the front row in only his second BTCC race and Adam Morgan finishing just 0.026s behind Hill. Despite challenges in qualifying, former champion Tom Ingram managed to secure a decent position on the starting grid for the upcoming races. The stage is set for an exciting and competitive race weekend at Brands Hatch.
